Camera just a little too quick.....I didn't notice the rollers quick enough, it wasn't pretty.

The front guy did too.....the helicopter was ahead of us and I was trying to catch up to it. When the helicopter turned around towards us I noticed the 2 boats in front of us had slowed down.....then saw the rollers....a couple guys got ALOT more air than I did!!!

Those are some of the best running shots of that boat. Hard to believe that a single engine 320 Velocity will run up on the pad like that!!!:rock:rock

I've been looking for this pic....here's another guy (28 Sonic) that was watching the helicopter and NEVER saw those rollers coming!!!!! Randy Nuzzo snapped off 4 pics before the boat hit the water again.

Just another observation, sonic28 has the drives tucked nicely producing an very controllable flight. Just a little too much trim here would have dramatically altered that boats attitude. Great job Sonic28!

It just hadn't sunk in yet, or he was in shock....we talked to him that night, the landing was brutal. The 2 women hit the floor when they landed and both engines just cut off. Boat started back up and has ran fine since (3 years ago). I have this launch on DVD somewhere but have no idea how to post it.

What you do to post a vid is you have to put it up on a site like you tube. Then you can copy it to a post if you want. At least that's the only way I figured out how to do it so far. I'd like to see that ride for shore!
