If you know were littles is there is a small bouyed sand bar on your right if you head to littles. I would anchor close to the sandbar and watch right there.

Sounds like a good spot. What marker is that near?

Looking on my Lake Norman map from West Marine the closest marker is "M1"The sand bar is marked with 3 floating markers. That should be a awesome place and safe.

i was thinking out in front of governors island -- that way you can see them come in fast and make that nice sweeping turn at speed....

We'll probably be out and about by 10 or 11.
Buzz me on my cell if you want to raft up.

Hi David,
its been a good summer -- out every weekend and running strong... just a tad bit slower than the pantera -- but a whole lot more room!
you need to get yours out there on the lake!

Yo Purlpe Hornet- There is a big orange plastic marker sitting down in front of the damn area. It was placed there today so......I'm guessing that is one of the card stops. I

PS I don't know why PRA is keeping the stops top secret...... it's not like you can't see the markers from miles away.
I hope I don't get sued for posting this info.

:wtff It does not get any safer for me. I put in at 5 pm on Friday and the boat would not start. :bullchit No fire i worked on it for 1 1/2 hours the best I could with a screwdriver and a adjustable wrench and changed every fuse. And pulled every connection apart and reconnected. I think maybe the msd box jumped ship :smilie_daumenneg:
This is the first time I left the lake with 50 gallons of fuel still in the boat and a cooler full of beer. I just started it sunday on ear muffs

Sorry to hear your boat wouldn't start.
-aside from the weather, I would say you didn't miss much.
Watching the run was ok.
Coolest part, was that the number of performance boats running around on the lake (outside the run).
Big negative for the day was the sheer quantity of blow boats out there. - I've never seen so many sailboats in my entire life!
Didn't know that many existed on LKN. Hundreds for sure, thousands possibly?
